We are currently moving over from edublogs…
This HEALTHYWORDS site provides a quick insight into the activities of Dr. Diana A. Taylor, MSc, Berlin.
As readers might quickly gather, I am a professional scientist – trained in the area of Nuclear Physics (Hamburg, Berlin, Dresden) – with recent post-graduate MSc successes in the U.K. (Pharmaceutical Information Management). I am currently based in Berlin, Germany.
I am also a Certified Translator, gained while studying and living in Dresden. As far as professional career goes, I have over twenty years experience in the area of drug development (sales training, marketing, product development in Europe, and the Middle East).
Amongst other things, I am also member of the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA), so a special Spring welcome is extended to fellow members who might be dropping in.

My research and industry insights have provided the background for my recent book publication, “Healthywords…” which has been published by Tectum Verlag in Germany.
A review of the book has been published in the Journal of the European Medical Writers Association (Vol. 16, # 2, 2007, p. 89). Written by Karen Shashok, it can be accessed here:hw-review.pdf.
In Cyberspace with the DIA
Finally, I am an active and engaged member on numerous SIAC Committees of the DIA (Drug Information Association) that regularly convene at Conferences and in cyberspace:- “SIACs provide a forum for volunteers to network and exchange information. SIACs also assist DIA in identifying professional development needs in particular interest areas and in providing information to members in career and professional development, to meet those needs”.

Those committess to which I regularly contribute are:
-
GCP/QA (Good Clinical Practice & Quality Assurance)
-
MW (Medical Writing)
-
PET (Professional Education & Training)
-
MedCom (Medical Communication)
